Climate: Cambodia can be visited throughout the year. Two types of monsoons regulate Cambodian climate. From November to March there is a Northeast monsoon, the dry one with little rain. From May until the beginning of October there is a Southwest monsoon with heavy precipitation and a high degree of humidity. In between these two seasons the weather is changeable. Maximum daily temperature is about 35° C in April, which is the hottest month; about 20° C in January, which is the coldest month

Language: KHMER is the official language. English and French are also widely spoken.

Currency: The local currency is the RIEL. The official change is about 4.300 RIEL for 1 usd. In the big cities are normally used American dollars. Foreign currencies and tourist cheques can be exchanged into RIEL at banks or foreign exchange agencies.
- Credit cards are popularly used, especially in cities and big tourist centers.
